My favorite gift is one I just got! For my 40th birthday, my sister-in-law arranged a 40 days to 40, where a friend or family member would send a card, message, or small gift each day leading up to my big day. I didn't know who the gifter was each day, so it was a surprise who I would hear from. Friends, family members, my first piano teacher, favorite Sunday School teacher, and our next door neighbor growing up all participated. It was so special and life giving! I felt so loved and celebrated going into a new decade.

I’ve started gifting my sisters in law a few of my fave things that made my life easier/brought it a little joy each year. This year is La Roche Posay’s lip balm, a bag of coffee from a local roaster, and a thing of Buoy Hydration Drops.

I adore this concept. It's like a Favorite Things Party but one to one. Very sweet. My immediate best local friends and I do this and its so fun.

Excited for these lists, thank you.

My favorite gift was when my mom gifted me her engagement ring that my dad gave her. Mine had lost its diamond and we didn’t have the money to replace it.

I love the variety of lists you're creating! Thank you for the fun ideas!!

I still have such fond memories of receiving a tetherball when I was in 3rd grade! I was so obsessed with the game and so thrilled when my Dad set up my own tetherball pole at our house!❤

A ring my aunt gave me that belonged to my great grandmother (who I happened to be named after!) and I’ve worn it every day since I was 16. It is one of the most precious things I own! 🥰

This year, the holidays are a little different. I was laid off a year ago and thought for sure something would change in 2024. My husband and I set a small spending limit for our gifts to one another. I imagine this will be the Christmas we will cherish because it isn't about "getting all the things" as is has been in the past. My heart believes this to be true.

Any gift that was an experience!!! It’s always so nice to enjoy a moment and a special event, especially when you are minimalistic🌸🪩 this year I’m doing annual passes for the zoo (gulf breeze zoo, I know you would appreciate that as a fellow pensacolian) and Disney annual passes for the twins!
