I love learning about how this platform works and what you've learned from the data. My main question is: is there a way to 'bundle' substack subscriptions, as a reader? I subscribe to yours, and would love to subscribe to some others, but it feels a little messy to have all these one-off payments. I would love a way to click on the 3 or 4 I want to pay to subscribe to, and be charged one monthly lump sum (that still goes to the creators). I know you don't run substack, but just wondering if you know if this exists. Thanks!

Hi Jill! I don't know if there's any way to bundle. But what a GOOD idea. Substack is adding features weekly, so I wonder if that will be an option too!

Oooh good question. I think this is one of those “feel the fear and do it anyway” times. You just go for it. And remember that subscriptions will fluctuate and that’s ok! Cheering you on!!

Yes! There’s an authenticity here that is exactly what we’ve been missing.

As a newish subscriber, I realized quickly how much I’ve missed being able to enjoy the written word... without having to scroll past advertisements, commercials, sponsored content, and the like.

I know all of those things have their place, and I respect the hustle. But... I MUCH prefer being able to enjoy the words alone without the “noise.” That alone is worth paying for.

YES. Exactly this. I love that there isn't ay advertising, etc here. IG is wearing me out with all that.

Loving this platform and how I can go directly to the content rather than trying to navigate socials for it. Your Substack is my go to when I need to just “be” for a bit. Whether the content relates directly to my life, I still enjoy it because there are always little “gold nuggets” I can use! Keep the content coming! I did want to ask - is every Substack available to hear you read it? I tried it once and got the automated voice rather than yours.

Thank you Angel!! Regarding narration -- the feature just came out recently, so if you go back to earlier posts, I think it's the automated voice. I'll try to do it on most of my future posts!

When I first heard of Substack, I will be 100% honest when I thought “why would I pay to read what you already offer for free?” This was in relation to someone else’s Substack. But I knew it was because that particular content didn’t actually add any value to my life and I even stopped consuming it for free. HOWEVER, the content you offer here is so rich and so good. It’s different than anything else you offer, I like the engaging ways we can connect through this little chat. So, after realigning my heart and realizing what does and does not serve me, I find such value in a paid subscription with you!

I have been loving your substack! I’ve been a fan of yours and Simplified for years and really love this new platform. It feels genuine, authentic and real. The Sunday scrolls give me great things to learn more about and i love how you keep it fresh between some written posts and others you can listen too. The posts about tactical tips are some of my favorites! Keep them coming!

I totally agree! I’m a longtime follower of you and Simplified. I love how your voice comes through so authentically here. You seem happy and free! I love the positivity and the tactical life solutions. It makes me feel like I’m not alone on this whole mom/wife/career journey. I’m wondering how you balance all of the different writing you are doing? How do you have time to write books, podcasts, Substack, etc??

Happy and free!! Yes!! How do I have time -- well, I have a FANTASTIC team to manage Simplified. And we have producers we work with on the podcast. Books I carve time out for. And Substack is my fun time!! xo

Hi Emily! First, I’ve been a Simplified loyalist for years...planners, pouches, pens...all the things! I’m one of those “paper and pen” gals who owns more of each than I will ever use. Sticky notes and writing supplies are my love language! I also have A LOT of words in my messy little brain that I corral into cohesive, shareable thoughts from time to time...but I haven’t quite found the right medium or venue. How did you know Substack was right for you, and how does one go from being a subscriber to a contributor?

Hi Emily! I have a substack question for you. Although I am not a writer, I am a Board Certified Health Coach who would like to develop my community, build my business and educate others. Does this platform make sense for me?

YES. So, my good friend Amy Migdalia -- she is the nutritionist I worked with last year. I just recommended Substack to her for this reason. She's always putting out amazing information in her newsletter. But Substack serves as exactly that -- and a place to collect it all!

Thanks so much Emily. Despite the fact that I am 20+ years older than you, I have learned SO MUCH from following you. (especially this year). You and Jane Friedman (www.janefriedman.com) are serving as my inspiration and guides as I try to move my business forward. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend.

Love this, Emily! And it’s inspired me to consider a platform that I have been nervous to engage with by writing rather than just reading. I love your Substack and the genuine, authentic nature of how you write and share. Thank you

Substack is slowly becoming my happy online place and I can’t wait for more creators I love to join! 💛

Your Substack has been a lighthouse for me and even inspired me to start one of my own, purely for fun to document a journey/dream of mine but would be incredible to move to a paid newsletter one day!

Substack is honestly so refreshing and wholesome 🌼 And I think there’s so much space for so many to grow and connect over here. Im here for it!
