Each year my long distance best friend and I go on vacation. Sometimes we go to each other’s houses, but most of the time we pick a place that we both want to go. It’s been a way we can naturally connect through the year and then get excellent quality time together. Highly recommend if your bestie lives in a different state!

That clip with Adam Grant was awesome! So simple, yet so effective and still kind. It’s review time at work, and that phrase is absolutely going to be implemented on a few that I was dreading.

I love this post every week! Thank you 🩷 As someone who actually needs a GLP-1 to be their best self due to an endocrine disorder- the ozempic craze literally cut off my access to it bc of insurance restrictions. Thankfully a new doctor and a lot of red tape later I was able to get it back but I definitely have a lot of feelings about people using it for weight loss to the degree it’s being used.

One of my best friends of over thirty years lives in another state. We haven’t lived in the same place twenty-five years. However, our dedication and technological advances made it possible to sustain and grow this friendship. One benefit to a long-distance friendship is that this friend who knows you insanely well and is outside your normal circle of friends and life circumstances can be so objective and honest when giving you advice. It’s such a great perspective.
