Sunday Scroll #86
A visit to Costco in France, gorgeous at 94, how to sit with hard emotions, a guide to tulips
Happy Sunday, y’all. And to everyone celebrating, Happy Easter! Whether you’re hiding Easter eggs in the yard (or sneaking a few for yourself to enjoy), putting the finishing touches on a lovely meal to share with family, or having a quiet day at home with a great book and a cup of tea, I hope meaningful moments and rest are sprinkled throughout your day.
I’ve taken off the last few days to spend with my family. This Easter has meant more to me than in the past, so I wanted to set aside the time I could to reflect: On sacrifice. On hope. On love that changes everything.
I’ve got a few links for you today. Let’s scroll for a few!
How to sit with an emotion. This is something I never want to do but need to do. This How-To is chock-full of good advice. I’m teaching this to myself not only for me, but also for my kids.
At 94, I’m still worth looking at. Judith shares her style over the years, and wow, is she gorgeous. What a queen!
Protect what brings you joy. For Katie, that meant getting a Little Free Library. Do you know how happy I am when I see a Little Free Library??! I always stop for a second to check what’s inside. These days, we need to keep reaching for the little sparks of joy, whatever they may be. They’re more vital than ever.My kid became pen-pals with 17-year-old me. This one made me a little misty. What a gift. I love it so much.
