Sunday Scroll #147
what women are using Claude for, the best Etsy antique shops, and a Hill House deep dive
Hi friends! Holy cow, what a week it was. I hope you’re snuggled up in something warm with a cup of something delicious reading this. Last week we spent a few days in Greenville, SC before dropping Caroline off at Camp Greystone, then Brady and I spent a few days in Asheville, NC before picking Tyler up from Camp Carolina (yes, they overlapped by just a few days — which means they’re apart for seven weeks and I’m still not over that fact). I have to share a mom update here: Tyler was so nervous to go to camp this year (year five for him), but I picked up the most confident camper. He loved it so much we signed him up for Summer ‘27 on the ride home. When I tell you I sobbed the whole way home from drop-off because leaving my teary guy had me a mess, I mean… I sobbed. But three days later, when I got a letter that said, “MOM I’M HAVING SO MUCH FUN AND I’M NOT HOMESICK AT ALLL” (yes, all caps)… I mean. Alright, enough mom gushing. Happy Sunday Scrolling.
Love this peek into what women are actually using Claude for.
If you’re a Trader Joe’s lover, check out this ranking of their seasonal products and what’s worth buying!
Are you an “Everything Bagel Parent?” It’s a new term for parents who feel responsible for being everything their child needs, and while it may come from a place of love… it’s unsustainable.
Hot flashes. Hair loss. Exhaustion. Anyone? Hormones can be so confusing. I have been a Midi Health patient since October 2025 and I can’t recommend their virtual services enough. My clinician and I have been tweaking my hormone replacement therapy the last few months and it’s ben life changing for me. Check them out. (Thanks to Midi Health for sponsoring today’s Sunday Scroll!)
A nice little cheat sheet for search terms + the best Etsy shops for sourcing antiques, textiles, ceramics, and art!
A friend recently told me about a pair of (not inexpensive sheets) she bought from a popular online retailer that ripped within the year — and it happened to her friend as well! We have Boll & Branch sheets on every bed in our home and at the Lake House. They have survived three kids and
hundredsthousands of washes with not a rip in sight, plus they’re 20% off right now if you’ve been curious.Next on my list to borrow from Vivrelle (get your first month free with EMILYLEY)!
This week we launched our new embroidered pineapple journal over at Simplified, and I cannot tell you how much joy it brings me. The colors, the details — it’s so good. And mark your calendars for our Simplified Birthday Sale starting on Wednesday!
“The ‘Nap Dress’ Propelled Hill House to $110 Million. What’s Next?” — the article is behind a paywall, but it’s a great read on the success of the Nap Dress and how Hill House is generating double-digit sales growth!

Just saw that the linen dress I’m obsessed with now comes in a red polka dot print, so fun!
Prime Day bestsellers:
Prime Day(s) is over, hallelujah. It’s a lot, I know, but thank you for sticking with me through it. I only ever share things I genuinely use and love, and when they go on sale, I can't not tell you.
As I was combing through my analytics, I noticed an interesting theme — we're finally investing in ourselves. Almost all of my bestselling items were pure self-care. And not the bubble bath kind, the actually restorative kind that helps you sleep better and feel better. And more than that, you all want results without the runaround. We’re talking dentist-recommended formulas and derm-approved ingredients, available without a prescription or a $300 office visit. Busy women value efficiency and smart spending!
It’s also entirely possible I’m reading too much into this, but just something I found interesting and wanted to share! These were my bestsellers, in order:
Coming next week:
I thought it was time to do a mid-year reading check in! I’ll be sharing all the books I read first half of 2026 (my favorites, the ones I DNF’d, the few I’ve been telling everyone they need to read). So meet back here next week with your book recs, questions to pose in the comments, and hot takes! I love me a good book talk.

Can't wait for the book list!
Looking forward to book talk next week! I love the Trader Joe’s post! Always looking for new ideas! Have a great week!
