Sometimes, miraculously, I find myself with a bit of downtime. The doctor’s office, the airport gate, carline (always carline). When I don’t feel like answering emails or hopping on social, I scroll through photos on my phone and revisit my past lives.
New wife.
Solopreneur.
Mom of one kid.
Mom to three kids.
Mom of school aged kids.
The other day I was at the airport, waiting to board my flight, flipping through old photos. And it hit me just how much my children have grown and changed. The title “Mom of littles” no longer applies to me. I’m now a “Mom of tweens and teens.” 🥹 That’s quite a reality check when you’re sitting at Gate B38, trying desperately to will away the tears in your eyes so you don’t freak out your fellow travelers.
Where did the time go? I think.
But then, in the same breath:
I can’t wait for what’s next.
