Prime Day finds so good I bought them twice

The products we use often at home and purchased again for the lake house

It’s Prime Day! And while I have a lot of feelings about Amazon (and about showing up on the internet at all right now with so much tragedy happening in the world), I’m happy to bring you some really, really good finds — including some from small businesses who are thriving on the Amazon platform — that will help you make life a little easier and help you cultivate your family’s soft place to land.

Many of these finds are actually things we've loved so much in our Pensacola home that we bought them again for the lake house — which tells you something about how much we actually use and love them.

I am a sleep aficionado. I love sleep. I’m very invested in good sleep. I’ve professed my love for Leesa mattresses to you guys a few times (code EMILYLEY50 still works for $50 off!), so you know my mattress rec. Have you tried these Beckham Hotel pillows? I heard a few people talk about them, bought one, fell in love with it, then outfitted our whole house in Pcola. When shopping for the lake, I bought all of these LAST Prime Day too (a major win in the deal department!) I despise a flat pillow. Or a warm pillow. These stay fluffy, stay cool, and are just basically the best. Bearaby weighted blankets are also on Amazon. I cannot sleep without mine. We got these striped collapsible laundry hampers (one for each of the three bedrooms here). And — this travel set? I just had to include it because it’s an incredible dupe for the Frank & Eileen one that costs close to $400.

Onto vacuums. Three kids and a dog = always vacuuming. The Dyson cordless (was $469, now $300!) can’t be beat and Prime Day is the only time to buy one. Are you also in your mid-forties and shedding like a dog? Get one for your bathroom. The Shark handheld vacuum is a must have. And my love for Our Place kitchen tools, pots, pans, and bowls / plates knows no bounds. My mom bought me the Always Pan for Christmas a few years ago and I never looked back. This brand is all I use. We outfitted our entire lake house kitchen with it. And I paid my actual real life dollars; this isn’t sponsored.

All the clear bins. Be sure to grab some Museum Gel to hold the drawer organizers in place. We use them for everything here. And this box cutter? Works like a charm.

Ring Cameras are always on sale for Prime Day. And necessary. On the far right here is an Ankor Charger that I travel with. I love it so much I got everyone in my family one for Christmas last year. It can charge a laptop, plus has spots for USB-C chargers, USB chargers, and regular plugs. Also it comes in fun colors. :)

Above are some decor items I found on Amazon for the lake house and love. They may or may not be on sale today, but they’re priced well anyways and beautiful. I love having this beautiful checkers game out on my coffee table here at all times. It’s funny how many times my kids will just start a game because it’s out (vs how many times they wouldn’t if it was tucked away and forgotten about).

File these away under random, above. I have these woven boxes in my office at home and we got them for the living room here at the lake. The Venty fan is a *must have* if you’re a hot sleeper like me. The Kindle Paperwhite = amazing. And this Bissell Little Green Machine is a Prime Day bestseller every year for a reason. It’s perfect for every little spill.

In the beauty department, I have a few of these in my cart today. The Dyson hairdryer is the best hair dryer ever if you don’t want to spend 30 minutes in front of a mirror. I don’t have this Shark air-wrap-type thing, but I hear its great and — now that I know my hair will hold a curl outside of the Florida humidity — I think I need one for GA.

And… last but not least, The Simplified Cookbook is on super sale for Prime Day!!! This is the lowest price I have ever seen it, so grab your copies and gift copies now! I forgot to bring a copy to the lake and I’ve been using the edit-copy I have saved to my phone! :)
